Achievers Day and Investiture Ceremony

The Achievers Day and Investiture Ceremony took place on 21 June 2023 at Silver Hills Public School. This grand event celebrated the achievements of students and marked the official investiture of the student council. The ceremony aimed to recognize outstanding accomplishments, inspire future success, and empower students to take on leadership roles within the school community. The event commenced with a vibrant RangaPooja, a traditional Indian art form, and a soulful prayer performed by the school choir. The colourful RangaPooja added a touch of cultural significance, while the prayer invoked a sense of tranquillity and divine blessings for the proceedings.
Ms. Chitra P, a faculty member, delivered a warm and heartfelt welcome speech, extending greetings to the honoured guests, parents, faculty, and students in attendance. Her words set the tone for the ceremony, expressing gratitude and enthusiasm for the achievements of the students. Fr. Augustine K Mathew CMI, Manager of Silver Hills Institutions, delivered an inspiring presidential address. He emphasized the importance of education, character development, and leadership, encouraging students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives. Fr. Mathew Kalapurayil CMI, Principal of the school, addressed the audience and highlighted the significance of the Achievers Day and Investiture Ceremony. He applauded the students for their achievements and emphasized the importance of leadership skills in shaping their future endeavours. Rajpal Meena IPS, DIG & Commissioner of Police, delivered an inaugural address that motivated and inspired the students. He shared valuable insights on discipline, integrity, and the role of leadership in creating a positive impact on society. Mr. Ganesh Bhat, President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), presented a felicitation to acknowledge the accomplishments of students. His words of appreciation and encouragement added to the celebratory atmosphere of the event.
The Chief Guest presented awards and badges to the outstanding academic performers of the school. The achievers were recognized for their exceptional academic achievements and dedication to their studies. This moment of honour motivated other students to strive for academic excellence. Fr. Mathew Kalapurayil CMI, administered the oath of office to the newly appointed student council members. The students pledged to uphold the values of the school, serve the student body, and carry out their responsibilities with integrity and dedication. Fr. Augustine K Mathew CMI, presented mementos to express appreciation to the Chief Guest for gracing the event with his presence. Himani K, the School Topper in SSCE, and Nandana Ranjish, the School Topper in SSE, shared their experiences, challenges, and the strategies that led to their success. Their reflections inspired and motivated fellow students to strive for their goals. Vaishnav Pradeep, the School Chairperson, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of student leadership in fostering a positive school environment. He encouraged students to actively engage in various activities and take on leadership roles to contribute to the school community. A captivating dance performance showcased the talent and grace of the school's students. The performance added a cultural flair to the event, leaving the audience mesmerized. Gopika K, the School Leader, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, guests, teachers, and students who made the event a grand success. She acknowledged their efforts and support.
